This was a match Barrysun challenged me to do a while back, in fact it was requested as early as my first month into Mugen videos. Well, the match is finally here. I finally take on Athena Asamiya Ecchi X by Ecchichu (yes, you read the author right). This creation was stolen off of EI's Athena Asamiya X and converted into an Athena Show-Her-Panties-A-Lot version (though, you have to admit, she is pretty cute). I play Shiki Nanaya for this battle. Ughhh, this version of Athena is frustrating, especially with her extremely aggressive A.I. installment. She can beat the crap out of Iori XI with little trouble and even beat Kyo XI. The real beef I have with this character is that her combos and attacks are very overpowered especially when she spams her 7-hit combo that can whipe out more than half of your life away. She also spams her throw as a counter which is also highly damaging. Her attack priority is fricken huge so melee alone isn't exactly a good approach on her. When she isn't up close she is spamming her Psycho Ball like a maniac until she gets enough Super energy to teleport towards you and unleash a Super that HURTS. She tends to chain her combos into Supers and even chain extra combos after that, resulting in damage that can be comparable to Evil Ken's combos. She also abuses her dodges and teleports especially up close which is extremely annoying. Also something about her intro seems a bit disturbing :/. Shiki Nanaya (me)...

Blood Heat is the key here, it allows me to heal myself easy, thus getting the time over win I need. The problem is I need to physically hit him in order build up my super bar, and that can be tricky, since it's possible that one hit from him can kill me.I use the knives here to keep him down while I get close for a combo of my own.
