Merry Christmas everyone!I bet it's not the first time you've heard that... and it won't be the last.Anyway this is my entry into Levus's second contest. I chose to do Plug Man's theme, making this my second MM9 song to do. I'm getting the game as soon as I can get my Wii to update... which it doesn't ever complete for some reason, despite the fact that every other online feature works fine. Any tips?Anyway, this was fun to make. I used Statoshi's Mario Paint Mochi (high quality Mario Paint sounds) for the first time (yes, Levus said that was okay). My entry to Levus28's contest. This contest is more my style, in terms of song choice and ruleset, so I decided to participate.This song came out quite well, but the recoding and editing didn't go so well. The video is behind the audio and the Windows Movie Makers kind of screwed with the transitions and no matter how much I tweaked them it didn't come out great, but it's not that bad. The normal Temple theme from the Second Legend of Zelda game for the NES. One of the quickest and simplest so far, yet still very good. I was surprised at the good quality of the music in this game, because it wasn't composed by Koji Kondo (who normally does the Mario and Zelda games). I think I enjoyed making this a lot. It took me a little amount of time and came out well. I was so pleased that I kind of went crazy at the end (you will see so in a minute). My video recorder lagged it a bit and there is a small gap in between some of the clips that I can't help (the recorder's hotkeys won't work -.- ). This is the most difficult one that I've done so far and it took me a really long time. Most of the difficulty is derived from the strange rhythm and the fact that the Midi I used didn't write down the percussion or have the note that feels like it's the first note on the downbeat of the measure.
